We offered them a vinyl sheet very similar to their old awning, and cut it to size. The old fashioned awning had to come down before we could install the attachment hooks for the Somfy Systems motorized awning setup. We worked fast to minimize intrusion. Testing the opening and closing on the system, we found the new motorized awning moving fine around its roller and robot arms. The new motorized awning moved smoothly and provided sufficient shade as well as a nice touch of décor.
