Ms. Tilingez needed to refurbish an old house to make it a livable youth hostel. This included shading an upstairs window in what used to be a playroom so that she could make it work as another sleeping area. The shallow window and space requirements of the bed meant they would have to be exterior shades.
Large windows like this one are easier to handle in many ways. We sized it and were happy to find some room on the outside of the window frame for another set of tracks. Adding them made it easy to install some waterproof shades on a roller and pair of sliders. No pets or small children to worry about in this environment, so feeding a drawcord through an opening above the frame wasn’t a problem.
